T
he Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is the world's largest charity devoted to the welfare of birds with over one million members.
While it will lend its name to other organisations, it wants to be sure that any uses of its good name are used appropriately, so a Licensing Guide seemed like a good idea.
Having worked with many brands, it seemed to us that the RSPB should set the tone rather than bog itself down in the nitty gritty of what was acceptable or not.
We produced a brand licensing pack that got over the ethos of the RSPB and what it stands for. The pack consisted of a brochure and CD-ROM packed with logo material and RSPB images that might be useful to a licensee, all held within an innovative pack.
We also put together a film for the CD that we thought got the RSPB message across in a way that no static brochure could.
The Licensing pack has gone down rather well as we've been asked to revisit it and update it.
