T he Travel Café was an idea whose time had come and launched in the ideal city; Oxford.

Sited above Blackwell's Bookstore in the heart of Oxford, it offered food and beers from around the world at prices its target market of students could afford.

It was the perfect antidote to gap-year blues and laid the foundation to future plans – over a beer from Ulan Batour and meal of perfect Brazilian steak.

They just needed a campaign to announce themselves to the locals and local radio was the perfect medium.

I created a series of quirky radio spots. Just click on them to hear why the Travel Café became the must-go-to Oxford destination. You may even recognise the cast.
